2003: Aston Villa 2-1 Chelsea

Marcus Allback’s double gave Aston Villa a 2-1 win over Chelsea.

The Swede scored in each half, from assists by Gareth Barry and Darius Vassell, to ease any relegation fears for 13th-placed Villa.

John Terry scored a late consolation goal for a Chelsea side who were fourth, narrowly above Merseyside clubs Liverpool and Everton.

2014: Sunderland end Mourinho's unbeaten home run

Sunderland came from behind to inflict Jose Mourinho's first home defeat as Chelsea manager, in his 78th such match, with a 2-1 win.

Samuel Eto’o had given Chelsea the lead but Connor Wickham equalised and Fabio Borini's 82nd-minute penalty won it at Stamford Bridge.

It was a first victory in nine for bottom-club Sunderland, who also won three of their next four to escape relegation. The loss left Chelsea five points behind leaders Liverpool.
