2012: Eden Hazard joins Chelsea
Chelsea completed the signing of Belgium international Eden Hazard.
The 21-year-old winger joined from Lille. He won Player of the Year in his last two seasons at the French club, and won the league and cup double in 2010/11,
In his debut Premier League season, Hazard scored nine goals and provided 11 assists as Chelsea finished third and won the UEFA Europa League.
He went on to win the PL title twice in his first five seasons at the club, winning 2014/15 EA SPORTS Player of the Year in the first of those triumphant campaigns.
In his final campaign at Chelsea before moving to Real Madrid in the summer of 2019, he won the Cadbury Playmaker Award for providing a league-high 15 assists in 2018/19.
2015: Liverpool agree to sign James Milner
Liverpool agreed to sign James Milner on a free transfer from Manchester City, when his contract expired on 1 July.
The England midfielder agreed personal terms with the Reds, after winning two Premier League titles in his five seasons at the Etihad Stadium.
Previously, he made his PL debut as a 16-year-old at Leeds United, before going on to play for Newcastle United, Aston Villa and then Man City.
