Leicester City will seek to build on their Matchweek 2 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers when they visit Southampton.

Team news

Saints manager Mark Hughes says Jannik Vestergaard is back after an illness and is "optimistic" about the availability of Mohamed Elyounoussi (hamstring).

Leicester striker Shinji Okazaki (fitness) may be available for selection, according to manager Claude Puel.

However, Matty James (Achilles) is out, Jamie Vardy is suspended and Caglar Soyuncu is yet to recover from an injury sustained before he joined the Foxes.

Did you know?

Leicester City, who won this fixture 4-1 last season, are aiming to win back-to-back away league matches at Southampton for the first time. This is their 40th visit there (W4 D14 L21).

Danny Ings scored against Everton last weekend and is looking to become only the fourth player to score in his first two Premier League starts for Southampton, after Ronnie Ekelund, Peter Crouch and Manolo Gabbiadini.

Leicester striker Kelechi Iheanacho has scored more PL goals against Southampton than he has against any other side, with three in four appearances.

The Foxes, who have lost their last four PL away matches, last endured a longer losing away run in the competition between September and December 2014, with seven defeats. That sequence included a 2-0 defeat at Southampton.
