With 2019 just days away, the Fantasy Premier League experts ponder how they can best improve the fortunes of their teams in the New Year.
"My New Year's resolution is to stop making so many transfers on a Saturday morning, close to deadline," says David Munday. "I want to make sure I make my transfers on a Friday night, in a more calm environment."
Sam Bonfield, meanwhile, sees next month as a chance to make the most of the second Wildcard of the season, which becomes available in January, with players leaving for foreign shores a major consideration.
"I am particularly bad at not using my January Wildcard very well," she says. "I tend to just make one or two changes to my team and this season I need to use it better, think about who I’m getting and make some bigger changes.
"Particularly with the Asia Cup in January and losing players like Son [Heung-min] (£8.8m) and Mat Ryan (£4.5m), it's important to use that Wildcard well."
