The goalkeepers came out on top as Chelsea extended their unbeaten start under Thomas Tuchel to 10 matches with a goalless draw at Leeds United.
Both teams struck the crossbar early on at Elland Road, including Edouard Mendy making a fingertip save on to the bar from Tyler Roberts' shot on 16 minutes.
Leeds lost Patrick Bamford to injury before half-time, while Mendy’s opposite number Illan Meslier kept the hosts in the match, denying Antonio Rudiger and Mason Mount.
Meslier also kept out Kai Havertz and Christian Pulisic early in the second half.
Leeds then had the better of the play and Mendy made the pick of the saves with a superb stop from Raphinha’s shot.
Chelsea stay fourth on 51 points, two behind Leicester City and three ahead of West Ham United.
A first draw in 19 matches for Leeds leaves them 12th with 36 points.
