Leicester City ended their season on a high with a 4-1 home win over Southampton, finishing eighth, four points outside the European spots.
Timothy Castagne headed over for the Foxes in a first half of few chances, but the floodgates opened after the break.
In the 49th minute a defensive error allowed Jamie Vardy to go through on goal and, although he was denied by Alex McCarthy, James Maddison followed up to break the deadlock.
Vardy doubled the lead with a cool low finish in the 74th minute.
And, although James Ward-Prowse made it 2-1 from the penalty spot, Leicester substitute Ayoze Perez struck in the 81st minute before netting again deep into stoppage time.
It gave Brendan Rodgers’ side their third win from their final four matches, with 12 goals scored in those victories.
Southampton’s fourth straight defeat leaves them 15th with 40 points.
