One of only 12 players to surpass 500 appearances in the Premier League, Gerrard made his debut for Liverpool in November 1998 against Blackburn Rovers and spent 17 seasons at Anfield.
He won Premier League Player of the Month award six times.
He scored 120 Premier League goals, the second-most of a midfielder in the competition’s history, and his 92 assists rank him behind only Ryan Giggs, Wayne Rooney, Cesc Fabregas, Frank Lampard and Dennis Bergkamp.
