Derby County will finish 2019 as Premier League 2 Division 1 leaders after Louie Sibley's double helped them to a 4-2 victory over Southampton.
Sibley opened the scoring for the Rams nine minutes before the break, before Enzo Robise equalised for Saints on 61 minutes.
Morgan Whittaker put the hosts back in front within 60 seconds before Callum Minkley's own goal made it 2-2 seven minutes later.
Two minutes after that, Sibley’s second of the night had Derby back in front yet again before Josh Shonibare’s curling shot made the points safe in stoppage time.
Derby are now a point above previous leaders Chelsea at the top of Division 1, having played one match more than the Blues.
Southampton are bottom, with 10 points from 13 matches.
