England cricketer Jofra Archer shone on the opening day of the second ePremier League Invitational tournament as he sent his beloved Manchester United through to the last 16.

Archer beat Newcastle United's Rolando Aarons 4-1 on EA SPORTS FIFA 20 to set up a meeting with Sheffield United's John Egan in the next round.

In the first match of the tournament, Tottenham Hotspur's Ryan Sessegnon claimed a 3-1 victory over West Ham United fan and YouTube personality Spencer Owen.

Burnley then faced Arsenal with defender Charlie Taylor earning a 2-1 victory over the Gunners' representative, Top Boy actor Micheal Ward.

Day 1's final match between Leicester City's James Maddison and AFC Bournemouth's Callum Wilson was postponed.

Fans can watch all the action on the Premier League's digital channels as well as on the Sky Sports YouTube and Twitch channels, BBC Sport website and iPlayer.

The tournament urges everyone to follow official advice by staying at home and saving lives.

We would also ask anyone inspired to play FIFA 20 to take regular breaks from gaming, every 45 minutes.
