Fantasy expert Sam Bonfield believes the form and underlying statistics of Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford (£6.1m) make him a cut-price option Fantasy Premier League managers will find difficult to ignore.
"Bamford is increasingly becoming one of those options who, at that price point, you can't really afford to overlook," says Bonfield in the latest episode of the FPL Show.
The Leeds frontman has scored seven goals in 2020/21 and has recorded the highest expected goals (xG) ratio of any player in the Premier League of 0.74 per 90 minutes.

Statistician Duncan Alexander agrees that Bamford, who next faces Arsenal at home in Gameweek 9, is showing no signs of slowing down.
"The strange thing with Bamford is that he recorded an incredibly high xG in the Championship last season. Like, really, really high, but missed loads of good chances," says Alexander.
"What he's doing this season is basically getting in the same positions, but he can now finish.
"There's nothing to suggest that he's going to tail off, really."
