Thierry Henry and Alan Shearer became the inaugural inductees into the Premier League Hall of Fame last year.
They were joined by David Beckham, Dennis Bergkamp, Eric Cantona, Steven Gerrard, Roy Keane and Frank Lampard, who were selected following a fan and panel vote to complete the "Class of 2021".
The next two former players to be inducted will be revealed on Wednesday 23 March. A shortlist of 25 nominees will also be announced, with fans around the world once again invited to vote for the additional six former players to enter the Premier League Hall of Fame this season.
The online vote will be open until 21:00 BST on Sunday 3 April, with the six ex-players who receive the most combined votes from the public and the Premier League Awards Panel inducted.
Each inductee will receive a personalised medallion and £10,000 to donate to a charity of their choice.
Who can enter the Hall of Fame?
To be eligible for the 2022 Premier League Hall of Fame, players must have been retired as of 1 January 2022, and only a player’s Premier League career is considered in his candidacy.
The Premier League Hall of Fame will live online, with a dedicated content hub here.
