Manchester City beat Group C leaders Colchester United 3-0 at the City Academy Stadium to stay in with a chance of reaching the knockout stages.
Colchester’s Brendan Ocran scored an early own goal before efforts from Demeaco Duhaney and Isaac Buckley-Rickets (pictured above) clinched victory for Simon Davies’s team.

The Citizens moved up to second place with one match remaining, level on points with third-placed Hull City and one behind Colchester having played one more fixture than both of them. The top two from each group reach the PL Cup round of 16.
Man City’s final group match is a trip to Hull on Monday 27 February. Colchester next face a visit to Derby County on the same day.
