Brighton & Hove Albion have signed Dutch goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen from Anderlecht.
Verbruggen becomes Brighton’s fourth addition of the summer transfer window, after Joao Pedro, James Milner and Mahmoud Dahoud joined from Watford, Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund respectively.

“He is used to playing a type of football similar to ours and he will have no problem fitting into our group.
“He has the potential to become a very important player for the club in the coming years.”
Verbruggen, 20, joins the Seagulls after three seasons with Anderlecht where he kept 11 clean sheets in 31 matches across all competitions.

Verbruggen’s first match in Brighton colours could be in the Premier League's Summer Series tournament against Chelsea on 22 July.
Brighton's opening fixture of the 2023/24 Premier League season is at home to Luton Town on Saturday 12 August.
