Pellegrino: We must do simple things right

Mauricio Pellegrino has called on his Southampton team to get the basics right as they seek to end a seven-match winless run in the Premier League when they visit Manchester United on Saturday.

When asked what he wanted his players to do at Old Trafford, the Saints manager told the club’s official website: "Especially to do the simple things well. When you are in this moment and not playing really well you have to do simple things.

"We have to be more solid, be more consistent, and little by little to increase our confidence. I expect us to do the simple things in the right way."
