Mohamed Salah's double helped Liverpool to an emphatic 4-1 Merseyside derby win over Everton, their biggest in the Premier League at Goodison Park.
The visitors almost struck twice in the opening two minutes, with Joel Matip heading wide and Salah shooting over from close range.
Their pressure eventually told as Jordan Henderson exquisitely curled the ball into the bottom corner to open the scoring after nine minutes before Salah beat the advancing Jordan Pickford with a fine finish to make it 2-0 10 minutes later.
Demarai Gray then slotted the ball beneath Alisson to halve the deficit before half-time.
Salah ran the length of the Everton half to score his 13th goal of the season on 64 minutes, before Diogo Jota's quick turn and powerful finish completed the scoring with 11 minutes remaining.
Despite recording a third straight league victory Liverpool stay third on 31 points, two behind leaders Chelsea.
Everton remain 14th on 15 points.
