Teemi Pukki's brilliant volley denied 10-man Newcastle United a first win of the season and kept the Magpies bottom of the table after a 1-1 draw with Norwich City.
Norwich played with a man advantage for more than 80 minutes after Ciaran Clark was shown a straight red card for bringing down Pukki when through on goal.
But they fell behind against the run of play shortly after the hour mark when Callum Wilson scored a penalty awarded for a handball by Billy Gilmour.
Newcastle would have gone above their visitors but they were unable to hold on to their lead, with Pukki smashing in substitute Dimitris Giannoulis’s cross with 11 minutes remaining.
The Canaries nearly snatched all three points but Pierre Lees-Melou was denied in stoppage time by a Martin Dubravka save.
Nevertheless a fourth successive Premier League match unbeaten for the first time since 2013 lifts Norwich above Burnley to 18th with 10 points, three from safety.
Newcastle become only the fourth team to go winless in the opening 14 matches and are three points further back.
