Aston Villa put an end to their run of four straight defeats as they drew 0-0 with Leicester City at King Power Stadium.
Leon Bailey came close to scoring after eight minutes, but the Villa forward fired Ollie Watkins' cutback over.
Leicester's best first-half chance came in stoppage time of the period, James Maddison curling a free-kick narrowly wide.
The match continued in similar fashion after the break with few clear-cut chances, although Watkins did test Kasper Schmeichel after 55 minutes.
Kiernan Deswbury-Hall, who looked lively throughout, fired wide from the edge of the area.
At the other end, Ashley Young's shot went straight at Schmeichel in second-half stoppage time as the match finished all-square.
Leicester drop to 10th on 42 points, while Villa stay 15th on 37 points, nine clear of the bottom three.
