Leeds United extended their unbeaten Premier League run to five matches in drawing 0-0 with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, that edged both teams further from the relegation zone.
Jean-Philippe Mateta had the best chance of the first half but was unable to turn in a fine Jordan Ayew cross.
The hosts continued to look the more threatening after the break as Wilfried Zaha worked Illan Meslier and Conor Gallagher later half-volleyed narrowly over from the edge of the area.
Meslier was forced into two low saves from Zaha with eight minutes to play as Palace searched in vain for a winning goal.
Back-to-back clean sheets mean Leeds stay 16th but they are now on 34 points, five clear of the relegation zone.
Palace stay 14th with 38 points from 33 matches.
