The Scout's panel of experts give their verdict on who managers should captain ahead of the Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 25 deadline of 18:30 GMT on Friday 19 February.
Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily)
I'll be going with Patrick Bamford (£6.9m). There is always the dilemma of a single-Gameweek player with a great fixture versus a Double Gameweek option. This week is easier, though, as Bamford and Leeds United especially are in good form and have two nice fixtures against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Southampton.
Utkarsh Dalmia (@zophar666)
It's a tough call between Bamford and Danny Ings (£8.4m). I'm currently leaning towards the former as the Chelsea fixture is a difficult one for Ings, with the Blues being solid under Thomas Tuchel.
Pranil Sheth (@Lateriser12)
I still haven't made up my mind on whether I'm going to go for a Leeds attacker or Ings. Leeds have more goals in them but Ings has greater goal involvement.
Ben Crabtree (@FC_CrabDogg)
I'll go for either Ings or Raphinha (£5.4m). The latter is edging it at the moment due to Leeds more likely to score the higher number of goals.
Geoff Dance (@GeoffreyDance)
Bamford is the best pick. He is the second most-popular player in Fantasy, with an ownership of 54.7 per cent. For those looking for variation, Raphinha has attacking returns in five straight Gameweeks, yet is owned by only 5.2 per cent.
Neal Thurman (@nealjthurman)
I hate to advocate for a one-gamer when there are two teams with two matches, but it's hard to get that excited about Ings or Bamford, given recent form. That leaves me back at Bruno Fernandes (£11.5m) against Newcastle United at Old Trafford.
Paul Gee (@FPLPaulGee)
Due to being a massive Leeds fan, I cannot look past Bamford. He is on penalties and is guaranteed to play both matches in a high-scoring team. It's an obvious choice.
Chuck Booth (@ChuckBoothSport)
I'm going with Raphinha. It was tough to avoid Fernandes for a second straight week as he has a peach of a fixture, but Raphinha has too many routes to returns. He is great from set-pieces and good enough in open play to be able to pick up goals and assists no matter how much Leeds are being overrun.
Holly Shand (@FFCommunity_)
I'm definitely going with a Double Gameweek player. I prefer Leeds’ fixtures, but am likely to go against the grain and back differential Raphinha over the more popular Bamford.
Nick (@WGTA_Nick)
Bamford has finally joined my team and he'll be given the captain's armband. The Double Gameweek is particularly appetising and Leeds have been ridiculously attacking this season, meaning Bamford will have plenty of chances to convert.
