Matchweek 10 had storylines galore, and none bigger than Manchester United getting back on track with a 3-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur.

Following the match, the north London side fired their head coach, Nuno Espirito Santo. Spurs have since hired Antonio Conte to take his place.

Conte won Italy's Serie A championship with Inter Milan last season and led Chelsea to the Premier League title in 2016/17.

Elsewhere, Crystal Palace had a surprise for the blue side of Manchester, shocking Man City with a 2-0 win thanks to goals from Conor Gallagher and Wilfried Zaha. Brighton also stunned Liverpool, coming back from two goals down to draw with the Reds at Anfield.

Chelsea continued their fine form, defeating Newcastle United 3-0 to extend their lead at the top to three points. West Ham United battered Aston Villa 4-1 at Villa Park to draw level on points with City and remain fourth in the table.

Following City’s shock loss to Palace and United’s thunderous win over Spurs, this weekend’s Manchester derby is shaping up to be a vital match in each club’s season.

A win for City would put them back on Chelsea’s heels in the title race, while a loss could see them drop out of the top four entirely. For Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Red Devils, victory would spring them level on points with their crosstown rival while defeat would send United back to the drawing board and halt their positive momentum.

As always, there’s much on the line in Manchester when these two massive clubs meet!
