The 87th-minute substitute was sent on as Man Utd trailed 1-0, and the score remained that way until 92 minutes and 46 seconds.
Never this late into a match had United been behind and claimed three points in the Premier League. But that all changed as the Scot struck in the third and seventh minutes of stoppage time to claim a famous win and avoid a third consecutive home defeat for Erik ten Hag’s team.

Not only was McTominay the hero for Man Utd, he became only the fourth player in the competition's history to score two goals that sealed a comeback victory.
The others were Troy Deeney, Fernando Llorente and Steven Bergwijn.
It was also the first time that Man Utd, famous for their late comebacks, had scored twice in stoppage time to win a watch from a losing position.
Only six other teams had achieved this feat in total in the competition.
The first time was possibly the most famous, when Manchester City came from 2-1 down at home to Queens Park Rangers on the final day of the season and thanks to goals from Edin Dzeko and Sergio Aguero claimed the victory that won them the 2011/12 title.
Below are the six previous occasions when a team have scored two stoppage-time goals to seal a comeback win, and the three times that the same player has scored both goals.
