Managers in Fantasy Premier League face tricky decisions with their Manchester City players.

The champions have a tough trip to Liverpool in Double Gameweek 28 (DGW28), when AFC Bournemouth and Luton Town both play TWICE, and City are then without a fixture in Blank Gameweek 29 (BGW29).

Here, The Scout's panel of FPL experts reveal their plans.

What the experts say
Lee Bonfield (@FPLFamily)

I've sold Kevin De Bruyne (£10.6m) for Son Heung-min (£9.8m) this week, even though I'm using the Free Hit chip in BGW29. Son's fixtures look really good and he was unlucky not to get more points against Crystal Palace in Gameweek 27. I will keep Phil Foden (£8.2m) and Erling Haaland (£14.5m) though, as I'll want them both in Gameweek 30 and beyond.

Pranil Sheth (@Lateriser12)

If you are Free-Hitting in BGW29, I'd be less inclined to sell my Man City assets. If I was not Free-Hitting in BGW29, there is value in owning Carlton Morris (£5.1m), who has three games over the next two Gameweeks, versus one for Haaland, for example. However, fixtures between Liverpool and Man City have traditionally been high-scoring, and Liverpool have been conceding a fair few chances in every match.

Utkarsh Dalmia (@ZopharFPL)

If you are not Free-Hitting in BGW29, I think you can get rid of some Man City players and invest in assets from Luton Town for their pair of fixtures in DGW28. You are effectively getting three games over the next two Gameweeks. I don't like any of the Luton midfield options, but getting Morris in place Haaland is a move I might be making with a view to Wildcarding Haaland back in for Gameweek 30 or 31. If you are using the Free Hit in DGW29, stick with your Man City assets.

Ben Crabtree (@FCCrab_Dogg)

I own Haaland and Foden, both of whom I'm unlikely to sell. If I owned a defender, I'd probably sell given their fixtures are against good attacking teams, and they have the BGW29.

Nick Harris (@WGTA_Nick)

I'm selling Julian Alvarez (£6.5m) and Foden this week and will be keeping Haaland. It feels odd selling them when Man City have been so dominant and Foden has been in sensational form, but I'm intending to Wildcard in Gameweek 30, so it's only for two Gameweeks and therefore it's just the Liverpool away match that I'll be missing out on.

Gianni Buttice (@GianniButtice)

I own triple Man City attack and intend on holding all three for the Liverpool match. Long-term, I plan to sell De Bruyne to fund a move for Mohamed Salah (£13.0m). But Foden and Haaland are going nowhere.

Pras (@Pras_FPL)

I'll be keeping Haaland, but I'm open to selling others, including an in-form Foden. I will be happy to bring him back after Man City play Arsenal in Gameweek 30.

Harry Daniels (@FPL_Harry)

Man City are on a good run of form and after Gameweek 31 have an amazing run until the end of the season. If managers are not playing the Free Hit chip in BGW29, they can potentially sell one or two to buy players like Morris, and transfer them back in afterwards, but you need a plan to own two or three Man City players from Gameweek 32 onwards.

Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily)

I have three Man City assets at the moment. Haaland is a player that I will not sell as I know I will want him straight back in. I'm happy to lose De Bruyne, as he will enable me to afford Salah after BGW29, and I would have Foden in De Bruyne's place. I'm unsure what to do with Nathan Ake (£5.1m). I might sell him for a Bournemouth defender, so I can target DGW28, especially as Man City haven't been keeping many clean sheets recently.
