The Scout is tipping five players for big success in Gameweek 22 of 2024/25 Fantasy Premier League, ahead of Saturday's 11:00 GMT deadline.

Phil Foden (Man City) £9.2m

The Manchester City midfielder looks back to his very best ahead of the champions' visit to Ipswich Town.

Foden has scored all four of his goals this season, and supplied one of his two assists, over the last five Gameweeks.

Since recovering from injury and returning to the Man City XI in Gameweek 16, the England star has boasted a huge all-round influence on their attack.

Indeed, Foden's 18 shots and 16 chances created across those last six Gameweeks are both team-leading totals.

Cody Gakpo (Liverpool) £7.4m

Liverpool’s Dutchman seems to be immune to rotation right now, having been named in their first XI in each of their last nine Premier League matches.

That security of starts suggests moving for Gakpo now could be a good idea after the Reds’ Double Gameweek 24 (DGW24) against AFC Bournemouth and Everton was confirmed earlier this week.

Liverpool’s schedule around those two matches only heightens the appeal of their key assets. Arne Slot’s side face Brentford this weekend and then have home matches against Ipswich and Wolverhampton Wanderers either side of their DGW24.

Notably, Gakpo has stepped up his output of late, too – he’s blanked only once over the last four Gameweeks, producing three goals, an assist and 25 points.

Anthony Elanga (Nottingham Forest) £5.2m

Nottingham Forest’s winger has the form and fixtures to provide outstanding value in Fantasy over the coming period.

Elanga’s assist against Liverpool in midweek means he has now produced attacking returns in each of the last six Gameweeks.

He has amassed 45 points across that period, scoring all three of his goals this season and supplying three of his five assists.

A home encounter with Southampton this weekend looks hugely encouraging for Elanga’s prospects, with Forest then facing Bournemouth, Brighton & Hove Albion and Fulham in the subsequent three Gameweeks.

Lucas Paqueta (West Ham) £5.7m

The Brazilian has been quick to make an impact in their two matches under West Ham United’s new head coach Graham Potter.

After scoring in the Hammers’ FA Cup defeat at Aston Villa last week, Paqueta – who is listed as a midfielder in Fantasy - then played as a forward against Fulham on Tuesday evening, scoring again to collect seven points.

The underlying numbers also indicate Paqueta is the likeliest West Ham player to profit from their home meeting with Crystal Palace this weekend. His total of five shots across those two matches are more than any team-mate.

Tyrick Mitchell (Crystal Palace) £4.8m

Owned by under two per cent of managers, the Crystal Palace wing-back has been a fine differential in recent matches.

Mitchell helped the Eagles to a 2-0 win over Leicester City on Wednesday evening, their third clean sheet across the last six Gameweeks.

Added to his two assists over this period, Mitchell has collected 31 of his 65 points this season in this spell.

Palace’s upcoming schedule only lifts the appeal in investing in their key players. According to the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR), three of their next four matches score a mere two, including their visit to West Ham this weekend.
