Dan Butterworth and Joe Nuttall scored in the second half to send Blackburn Rovers four points clear at the top of Division 2 with a 2-0 win over Reading.
Rovers took the lead five minutes after the break at the Leyland County Ground when Butterworth's deflected effort looped over Liam Driscoll and into the Reading net.
The home side doubled their lead on 75 minutes as Nuttall, pictured, nipped ahead of Driscoll to tap in and keep Damien Johnson's side unbeaten in the league since September and in the driving seat for the sole automatic promotion place.
Despite defeat Reading remain in the play-off mix in third with 28 points.
