WHO'S GOING TO BE YOUR

MAN OF THE MATCH?

Mac Allister double moves Brighton up to eighth

Alexis Mac Allister scored twice as Brighton & Hove Albion beat Everton 3-2 to record their first Premier League win at Goodison Park and climb up to eighth.

Mac Allister latched on to Neal Maupay's knockdown to score in the third minute before Dan Burn headed in to double the visitors' lead on 21 minutes.

After Enock Mwepu was adjudged to have fouled Anthony Gordon in the area, Dominic Calvert-Lewin fired the resulting penalty against the top of the crossbar and over on his first appearance since the end of August.

Gordon scored his first Premier League goal with the help of an Adam Lallana deflection to reduce the arrears on 53 minutes before Mac Allister found the top-right corner with a superb strike to make it 3-1.

The scoring wasn't done there as Gordon converted Jonjoe Kenny's low cross with 14 minutes to play, but Brighton held on to extend their unbeaten run to three matches.

Everton sit 15th with 19 points, eight adrift of Brighton.
