Southampton secured their biggest win of the season, beating Brentford 4-1, to leapfrog their visitors into 11th place in the table.
Saints went ahead after just five minutes when James Ward-Prowse swung over a corner and Jan Bednarek glanced it in at the near post.
Vitaly Janelt's stunning left-footed volley from Bryan Mbeumo's 23rd-minute cross brought Brentford level and it took a fine save by Fraser Forster to deny Janelt moments later.
But Southampton retook the lead on 37 minutes when Ibrahima Diallo's shot hit the post and then the back of Alvaro Fernandez's hand to rebound into the net for an own goal.
Armando Broja put Southampton 3-1 ahead soon after the break, racing on to Oriol Romeu's defence-splitting pass before slotting in his fifth goal of the season.
And substitute Che Adams gave Saints a four-goal haul for the first time this campaign with a deft finish 20 minutes from time.
Southampton's second win in three matches takes them on to 24 points, one point and two positions ahead of 13th-placed Brentford.
