The return to fitness of Kevin De Bruyne (£11.8m) hands managers a tempting differential in Fantasy Premier League.

Manchester City’s playmaker appeared off the bench against Everton in midweek after recovering from a hamstring injury.

And with his fellow midfielder Ilkay Gundogan (£6.1m) set to be assessed ahead of the trip to Arsenal this weekend after picking up an injury against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend, De Bruyne could be handed his first start since Gameweek 19.

Powerful differential

The Belgian has dropped to 10.5 per cent ownership in Fantasy ahead of Friday’s 18:30 GMT deadline.

He was in his most consistent form of the season prior to being forced off against Aston Villa in the second match of Man City’s Double Gameweek 19.

De Bruyne had produced returns in three successive outings for the first time this term before that encounter.

He totalled 26 points over matches against Chelsea, Brighton & Hove Albion and Crystal Palace, thanks to one goal and three assists.

De Bruyne’s display in a 3-0 win at Emirates Stadium last season further adds to his appeal.

He scored twice and supplied an assist for the visitors, claiming 19 points in Fantasy.
